Are Lantronix Devices affected by the latest Apache Log4J Vulnerability?

 

On December 2nd of 2021, a new vulnerability was reported that could compromise a system that is running Java or related programs and was termed to be Critical or High Risk.

It was referred to as APACHE LOG4J or LOG4SHELL or LOGJAM vulnerability with CVE-2021-44228 & CVE-2021-4104.

We have investigated the effect of this vulnerability in all Lantronix products and concluded that none of our products use the impacted library and can assure our users that no changes are needed in our products related to this vulnerability.
