Are Lantronix Devices affected by the latest Apache Text4Shell Vulnerability?

On 13. October, 2022, a new vulnerability was reported that could compromise a system that is using Apache Commons Text library.

It was referred to APACHE Text4Shell CVE-2022-42889.

We have investigated the effect of this vulnerability in all LANTRONIX products and concluded that none of LANTRONIX products use the impacted Apache Commons Text library.
We can assure our customers that no changes are needed in all LANTRONIX products related to this vulnerability.
