This is a note how to configure the CP1 and CP3 for RS485 half-duplex interface 1,to drive the DE/~RE signals of the RS485 transceiver.

To use RS-485, you must enable CPM Role Line 1 Flow. It requires CTS on CP3 and RTS on CP1.

1. Click on the CPM >Roles>configuration and enable the Line1 Flow.RTS for CP1 and Line1 Flow.CTS for CP3.

2. Click Submit button.

3. Reboot the XPORT-EDGE device.
