SLC Model Number changes after firmware upgrade
My SLC is displaying an incorrect model number after a firmware upgrade. For example, my SLC016 now thinks it's an SLC032 or my SLC048 thinks it's an SLC016. How can I resolve this?
Please log into the Command Line Interface (CLI) as sysadmin and run the following commands:
mfc model
admin reboot
This will cause the SLC to reset it's stored model information. See the example session below:

Welcome to the Secure Lantronix Console Manager
Model Number: SLC16
For a list of commands, type 'help'.
[SLC_Gary]> mfc model
The SLC model (SLC8/SLC16/SLC32/SLC48) will be re-initialized.
Do you want to continue? [no] yes
Please reboot for the changes to take effect.
[SLC_Gary]> admin reboot
All connections will be terminated and the SLC will reboot.
Do you want to continue? [no] yes
