Spider and Spider DUO - I get a Java security warning when I try to open the KVM Console
When I try to open a KVM Console on a Spider or Spider DUO, I get a Java message warning me that the application may be or is being blocked.
Starting with Java 7 Update 45, users began getting a warning that the KVM Console applet may be blocked in a future Java release. This warning could be ignored and the KVM Console would still be usable.
In Java 7 Update 51, the KVM Console applet would be blocked unless the Java security settings were set to Medium.
This issue has been addressed in Spider and Spider DUO firmware version 3.0.10 or higher. See the following links for the respective firmware download pages:
Note that you will still get warnings, but will be allowed to accept the security message and proceed to the KVM Console session.
