SLP does not power up out of the box

SLP does not power up out of the box

When I plug the power cord into my SLP it does not power up. There is no indication that the unit is receiving power.

This issue can occur if the SLP cord is not properly inserted into the locking bracket and power inlet enclosure on the SLP.

To resolve the problem follow this procedure:

  1. Disconnect the power cable if connected to the SLP.
  2. Loosen the screws labeled A and B in the diagram below.
Note: Do not remove the screws, only loosen the screws until the retention brackets move freely.

  3. Insert the SLP power cord into the SLP power enclosure as far as it will go.
  4. Tighten the screws labeled A and B until the locking bracket is secure.
  5. Tighten the remaining two screws to ensure the SLP power cord remains securely connected to the SLP.
