XPORT PRO – State of Serial Output pin at Reset
XPORT PRO – State of Serial Output pin at Reset
What is the difference between the XPort and the XPort Pro of the state of the serial output pin at the time of reset?
Pin 4 on XPort Pro and xPort Pr LX6 will, when pulling RESETIN# to ground, fade to 10% of VDD withing 750us. The ouput is left floating during this mesurement.
After releasing the RESETIN# on Pin 3, pin4 will after roughly 950ms jump to VDD.
This is different from the behavior of XPort-03R/04R/5R.
Pin 4 on the xPort stays high no matter what the status of RESETIN# is.
Therefore, if you replace an XPort-03R/04R/5R with an XPort Pro it is necessary to note this different behavior on reset.
