Are Lantronix Devices affected by the latest Apache Text4Shell Vulnerability?
On 13. October, 2022, a new vulnerability was reported that could compromise a system that is using Apache Commons Text library.
It was referred to APACHE Text4Shell CVE-42886.
We have investigated the effect of this vulnerability in all Lantronix products and concluded that none of our products use the impacted Apache Commons Text library and can assure our users that no changes are needed in our products related to this vulnerability.
