By default, the username is admin for all xDirect and xDirect-IAP devices. The default password will depend on when the device was manufactured.

For devices manufactured before 1 Jan 2020, and the default password is PASS

For devices manufactured on or after 1 Jan 2020, each device will have a unique default password and it is last 8 characters of the Device ID.

The Device ID is included in the QR code on the label in the device (not the box). You may use any QR code data reader application in a smart phone to read the data. For example the data read from QR code in an XDirect will look like the following string :

In the above example, the 32 digits after the marker “(S2)” is the Device ID of the device (shown as 32 x). The last 8 digits are the default password to the device.
