Not able to login or access the new/out-of-the-box SLC8000 CLI connecting through the console port, SSH, and telnet using the default credentials i.e. sysadmin and last 8 digits of Device ID

Console and SSH, prompt login credentials again even after entering the correct default username/password i.e. sysadmin and last 8 digits of Device ID as shown below which is not the expected result

Please Follow the below steps for a resolution

1] Connect the SLC8000 Eth1 port to the DHCP network that could lease the DHCP IP address to the SLC

or

1] Assign the Static IP address using the SLC8000 front panel LCD screen as shown in the video

2] Login/Access the GUI/web manager page of the SLC8000 with the DHCP IP address or the static IP address (assigned through LCD screen) through the browser(chrome/IE etc) and then enter the default credentials i.e. sysadmin and last 8 digits of Device ID

3] After successful Login/Access to the SLC8000 GUI/web manager page, Navigate to the Maintenance-Firmware/Config as shown below and verify if the highlighted details below are similar to your SLC8000

4] If the above information is similar, Download the Firmware 9.2.0.0R9 and MD5 Checksum files from the Link https://ltrxdev.atlassian.net/wiki/x/voBdBg (make sure to unzip the firmware file)

5] Proceed to upgrade the SLC8000 firmware version to 9.2.0.0R9 to both boot banks(bank1 and bank2) using HTTPS method mentioned in the Link https://ltrxdev.atlassian.net/wiki/x/hQFfBg

6] After the successful upgrade to firmware version 9.2.0.0R9, Navigate to the Maintenance-Firmware/Config as shown below and verify if the highlighted details below are similar to your SLC8000

7] If the above information is similar, Attempt to login/Access the CLI either through the console port or SSH/telnet using default credentials i.e. sysadmin and last 8 digits of Device ID which should be a successful login attempt. Below is the expected result
