You can use DeviceInstaller to extract the Setup Records from a CoBos device server and then load them into other CoBos device servers of the same model.  We will use the UDS1100 as an example:

To save a setup record:

* Select the UDS1100 from the list in DeviceInstaller
* Open the File menu and choose "Save Setup Records..."
* Click on all available check boxes so that they are selected
* Click "Save"
* Navigate to a directory where you will be able to find the *.rec file, e.g. the Desktop, and give the file a unique name.
* Click "Save"

Note that Setup Record 1 is "Write Only" because it contains security information.  If you have configured the Enhanced Password or other security features you must manually configure each UDS1100 with this information

To load a Setup Record the first time:

* Select the UDS1100 from the list in DeviceInstaller
* Click the "Upgrade" icon
* In Step 1, choose "Create a custom installation by specifying individual files (Typical) and click "Next"
* In Step 2, click "Next" without making any changes
* In Step 3, select "Install setup records from a file
* Browse to the *.rec file you saved, then click "Next"
* In Step 4, click "Save Installation"
* Save a unique *.lxi file to a location where you can find it, e.g. the Desktop.
* Click "Next" and the Setup Records will be installed in Step 5.
* Click "Close" when the process has completed.

For other UDS1100s to be configured the same way:

* Select the UDS1100 from the list in DeviceInstaller
* Click the "Upgrade" icon
* In Step 1, choose "Use a specific installation file (LXI) (previously saved by user)
* Browse to the *.lxi file you saved
* Click "Next" and the Setup Records will be installed in Step 2.
